Scientology is a new religion founded in the 1950's by L. Ron Hubbard and based on his book, Dianetics: The Evolution of a Science. In his book, Hubbard lays out the groundwork for Scientology by creating tiers of membership, therapeutic interrogations, indoctrination, icons, lore, and Xenu.
