Episode 6 Background
The book IT! By Stephen King was a classic horror movie released in the 1980s that has been remade in 2017. The story focuses on a small town named Derry that has a demon living in the sewers beneath it. Every few decades, the demon awakens to terrorize the manipulatable children by luring them into his lair in order to make them float and feast on their fears. The latest movie is directed by Andy Muschietti and stars Jaeden Lieberher, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Chosen Jacobs, Jack Dylan Grazer, Wyatt Oleff, and Bill Skarsgård.
