00:00:06| together we 180 the unmanned or we're here coming live from our homes yeah
00:00:18| in t word in your home this is my personal space and I hope you enjoy it
00:00:24| I'm gonna get not only do I enjoy it I hope you realized that the opinions
00:00:29| views thoughts and practice exercises we talked about are not our opinions or the
00:00:38| opinions of our employers friends families neighbors or future employers
00:00:43| or corporations all the implications they yep they definitely don't represent
00:00:49| anything that we would like to convey the inference signs are yours we can't
00:00:54| control those we cannot control you people don't know and or yeah um first
00:01:00| we like our party is oh I do I like it better than uppers actually unbirth
00:01:05| verse reminds me of a beers at the past time so we've got you have a little bit
00:01:15| of a new segment and by a little bit I mean this is a new segment oh I was
00:01:21| gonna move a 20 to end actually we can move we could shift it around depending
00:01:24| on how you want to do it yeah see how this goes that's uh I want it to be fast
00:01:28| okay let's move this step back and to shift around I'm shifting everything
00:01:33| around here let's start with this marker smile let's start with telling all the
00:01:41| for them oh yeah cuz the other age age-restricted
00:01:45| would rather read about us in the news yeah that's good send down a lot of the
00:01:53| name that's been filtered out mm-hmm now that's good press the like subscribe
00:01:59| button but do not watch yeah make sure you pause the video as soon as you watch
00:02:04| it pause it maybe it was something in the background
00:02:08| about a computer that you don't use with no volume yes and
00:02:12| make sure no one video or turn it off loop it five times
00:02:17| yeah yeah and if you work in like a Best Buy just turn it on every computer set
00:02:23| it up yeah we gotta get some loot reasonable folks huh what we have in
00:02:32| store for the folks today I'm Dan like that yeah this is the fish so let's
00:02:40| start off with a smirk or smile I don't know my head but I don't really have
00:02:49| anything I just I either but um as you can tell from my beautiful globe my
00:02:54| sunglasses can see her head and rooster odor it's got a cross just gotta get
00:03:01| that coffee uh-huh we were actually me and my family went to the shore overrate
00:03:08| New Jersey focus on almost fantastic was it fantastic as it as a dad vacations
00:03:18| change you start to wonder we drink that's who I used to do that when I was
00:03:28| the car oh I gotta I gotta unpack the car I gotta move all this stuff I gotta
00:03:33| get all the stuff ready to go onto the beach I gotta push the cart and then
00:03:37| when I do drink I gotta realize I gotta push the cart
00:03:40| back and move all this stuff again and then I'm like whoo there's a lot of work
00:03:44| I'm tired I need a drink you got a really moderate your moderation yeah
00:03:48| mm-hmm it's being an adult folks yeah I wouldn't say it's paint just being an
00:03:53| adult somewhere in between that'll bring it back to actually earlier this month I
00:04:00| went to a wedding and that was definitely a smile okay we gonna have a
00:04:05| big dance like crazy like that yeah totally enjoyed I was I was the
00:04:11| crazy guy on the dance floor which never happened oh yeah and I stuck to the
00:04:15| right drink because I felt great I still got a little hungover but really it was
00:04:19| the very place I think it was and coke with the card think it was no
00:04:26| pretended they had yeah that was the starter that was the starter like five
00:04:31| drinks or so I'd it out yeah well you always get people that come up with
00:04:35| random drinks and then you're just like I guess I'll take it because you're nice
00:04:39| you're chatty see on the I don't adhere to the beer
00:04:45| before liquor get there quicker look at before beer never been queer what is it
00:04:49| any got Salinas liquor before beer before liquor never been sicker that
00:04:53| sounds about right think that's about right like it before
00:04:55| yeah that's yeah beer beer and then liquor everybody said hey like a I don't
00:05:00| know there's also a thing about clear liquor red wine gives you a different
00:05:04| hangover in white wine liquor does something different to you they all they
00:05:09| don't get the job but they give you different drunks dip angle different
00:05:12| feel Ulysses who we listen to our friends podcast about this yes
00:05:17| shout out don't you shout out so if you should know stuff you should know really
00:05:20| good friends of the podcast they're like they love this episode yeah for as far
00:05:25| as friends go there pretty tight boots guys yeah we we like them
00:05:34| and it was what was the deal you would talk about the deal behind science oh
00:05:39| yeah I don't actually believe any of it cuz if I'm in a wedding I go wild I grab
00:05:44| a wine let's go like I have a pocket dream let's go faster I drink like three
00:05:50| beers in a row and they're different beers because I want to try all the the
00:05:55| niceties of the wedding do you know an example everything I say sample with the
00:05:59| Z yes so did you sample a white wine or is a
00:06:04| red wine because that makes a difference both I will literally try both sometimes
00:06:10| you're immune right well I'm going to get really drunk at a wedding I'm going
00:06:15| to dance really hard I'm gonna go way too late I'll even throw in energy
00:06:19| drinks and stuff the next day I feel like dying which
00:06:23| overdid it one night into Shore I was making a snap montage and I kept opening
00:06:29| cans and drinking and drinking and drinking were you know I wanted to
00:06:32| finish the montage and to do keep drinking so stayed up on the last
00:06:37| night before we left for like like two hours after I was ready to go to bed you
00:06:42| just had to keep drinking I'm sad too Oh death for about a day day and a half I
00:06:48| feel good now it's good I can drink again it's good it's your family sitting
00:06:53| there like goading you on or they Stern no no no um they disapprove of my
00:07:00| snapchat entirely no hardly - oh yeah dude it was it was terrible I was doing
00:07:05| it solely for myself it was like do you remember in college when you used it
00:07:08| let's do a case race or we're gonna finish this 12-pack and then go out
00:07:12| tonight like you would have a mission and you did it it was like a manly got a
00:07:16| goal it wasn't just casual drinking that's what it was but I set the goal
00:07:22| for I'm not sure why it felt good I'll push I guess I guess felt like
00:07:32| afterwards cuz you were a loner at that point oh my god I think it was the last
00:07:37| person drinking I think like everyone was ready to go to bed and I was like oh
00:07:39| I just gotta get one more snap of me Oprah the beer you know you're having a
00:07:44| flashback back to your college days and you're like ooh everyone's just like it
00:07:50| thing you know I'm saying like teeth know everyone's like Nick your child
00:07:54| he's crying he needs to go to the ER and I'm like lord irresponsible yep so like
00:08:02| I was saying I was very responsible in this uh short trip mmm but I was also
00:08:06| irresponsible one night though yeah doing it to the science of what they
00:08:11| said on their podcast we can well don't you want to be a kangaroo care there's
00:08:18| most important part yeah hangover cure was what like something greasy and a
00:08:22| cumbersome reason because they had some sort of now they said on Gatorade but
00:08:25| they weren't allowed to use it all Herbert's
00:08:27| right and potassium they said oddly enough bananas correct so you didn't say
00:08:33| banana read they were not added rat grease they're cut affiliated with
00:08:38| bananas so they couldn't use bananas and other parties you can't say hello dick
00:08:42| shaped Chiquita you can't use any of those you can't
00:08:47| even say banana you know represented by a Brazil public ah hmm
00:08:52| that makes it tell that's come from and Hawaii I think but maybe it's probably
00:09:00| yeah or Hawaiian banana bananas or Hawaiian pineapples whatever look or
00:09:06| whatever okay everything grows in Alaska you think it Alaska actually grows
00:09:09| anything or they just like live off of seals whales fish trees they hope the
00:09:17| fish like eat something fresh down the bottom of the ocean and then they don't
00:09:21| eat that out of its stomach there's got to be a crop that grows in Alaska get a
00:09:27| party and kelp just shines be actually in reality isn't like the highest meth
00:09:35| population in the US and Alaska yeah there's some drug with like ramped it up
00:09:40| there I think it's mad but what I'll see you
00:09:42| doing I guess it's one of those weird things that like people start doing meth
00:09:46| and really boring areas cuz boring what our listener uh-huh sorry yeah I know
00:09:51| it's the brought up it's listen well I forgot about shout out to our Alaskan
00:09:56| subscriber who doesn't do math or if he does shot him anyway
00:10:02| go you buddy yeah we're not we're not gonna judge not even a little bit we
00:10:09| don't pander we don't judge that's who he is and the other the other hangover
00:10:13| logic that they gave us was a the carbonation affects your the rate of
00:10:17| alcohol if I shake solutely disagree with what I just said earlier which
00:10:21| could be very true there's nice yes there sciency and then the color if it's
00:10:26| a clear liquid it's much bigger for you that are otherwise right what is
00:10:35| interesting and I would like a real great study actually Dan this is a big
00:10:41| segue I kind of hate when scientific studies
00:10:44| solve something that's cool like I think it's a cool folk lore or maybe it is
00:10:50| real like aurora borealis no human or like like my dad swears that um tequila
00:11:00| makes him turn into a monster I've never seen my dad drink tequila I'm
00:11:08| done it he's got the points Thank You Lane angry Jean when he is asleep he
00:11:13| says he starts punching things he goes insane like he's driving drunk probably
00:11:18| not though it's not an actual right but then like he'll have other mixed drinks
00:11:25| and he's fine and I know other people who swear like oh man I can't have Jose
00:11:29| Cuervo well that's another tequila but um oh why would I drink Jameson I'll get
00:11:35| like stupid I don't want to fight the world you're like okay but like everyone
00:11:40| like I drink Goldschlager I think I can climb a mountain you're like that's
00:11:45| weird and like so I climb the nearest building I'm a Goldschlager climb you
00:11:52| give him gold fire in there they are climbing a guard leper folks
00:12:03| he's non panda all right oh definitely but do you um do you have a liquor that
00:12:08| does something crazy to you I feel like science would disprove this but I feel
00:12:13| like I don't know what it would actually what the liquor actually is it was at
00:12:19| this club called the jungle and they had a drink called Red Death the red that
00:12:25| doesn't yeah whatever whatever is in that it just messed everyone up it's
00:12:30| probably one of those like it's like I've ever had Skippy's before I know
00:12:34| it's could be it yeah so sleep referred to as hippies plural um I guess you do
00:12:39| because you're not gonna drink just one cuz you can't taste the alcohol in it
00:12:42| that's the whole trick right sir eastern PA we call it Skippy Oh together you can
00:12:48| drink as much as you want I still just skip be interesting no for the folks at
00:12:52| home it's like a 24 pack of like the cheapest beer you can find like a handle
00:12:57| or two of vodka cheapest pocket on three time country time lemonade mix where
00:13:04| that sucker in and there is more maybe water that's like carbon water I think
00:13:11| it's something carbon sprite that's right that sounds that sounds
00:13:14| about right and then the trick in eastern PA is you have to mix it in a
00:13:19| trash bag yeah we did it's good to know that stuff I feel like as a group there
00:13:28| must have been like a dozen of us enjoying Skippy's and when the day
00:13:34| occurred it shifted over to like like night time didn't didn't happen like we
00:13:39| all woke up in different places wearing like clothing we'd never like one one
00:13:44| girl over war yeah one girl woke up in her winter jacket sleeping on the floor
00:13:48| that's like she didn't even know how she got there
00:13:52| if I'm gonna fall asleep and I need to stay warm I'll put on what a guy yeah
00:13:57| yeah yeah that night that night was good that's that's one of those things I
00:14:05| could relive if I could go back if your son is watching us we're you 21
00:14:16| I was in college because if my son's watching I was 22 I tried a beer when I
00:14:24| turned 21 it wasn't for me so I stayed away from it and got good grades
00:14:29| and at 22 I had a couple crazy nights that's it
00:14:33| think of that kid and it only took one crazy night to ruin your life
00:14:39| now I've leaned up back to you my son anyway um yeah so every we're talking
00:14:46| about our weddings and something that sir
00:14:48| weddings are the peak of a human interaction I think I think it's good
00:14:53| when you're not personally involved with them you're just kind of associated just
00:14:57| outside the circle otherwise you're too busy and it's good
00:15:00| when they're younger to like the group the people getting married the pleasure
00:15:04| right in the room right well the whole party yeah but everybody's younger cuz
00:15:09| then you eat there but what do you think what do you think the biggest age
00:15:13| disparity is between a couple getting married and their party like do you
00:15:18| think it like a 20 year old and a 21 year old getting married and they had
00:15:21| like older brothers and sisters at work plus 40 like 50 their big night and the
00:15:27| best man was 51 the other the grooves no or 52 and 53 nobody under the age of 50
00:15:34| and they were like they were like this is a swingin good time whoa dancing
00:15:40| really yeah yeah it's we're making dancing movements for those are the
00:15:45| pictures someone out there has had that yeah for everyone not visualizing this
00:15:49| yeah I guess it's possibility now or like a disparity between like bride and
00:15:54| groom it could be like Oh 20 or 30 year difference and then it's like clear
00:15:59| delineation of between like families I guess that could be a moving lot
00:16:06| actually the kids would be as old as like the adults and yeah and then they
00:16:10| could hook up with each other's you know that family tree let's make it like a
00:16:18| family tree was like Nora looks anymore boy okay that was folks enough
00:16:26| we're cutting that out yeah that was free looking I'm not thinking that at
00:16:31| all you're making that is the cover yeah
00:16:35| better really go they made a movie uh Kevin Hart movie where he's like the
00:16:43| best man yeah yeah pretty sure it is the name best pen because he's so good it be
00:16:48| more well hold on for the record for a while I entertained the thought that I
00:16:54| was one of the best groomsmen you could have they're quite good at it yes the
00:16:59| speech at E of the speech anyway speech I give great speeches I dance like a
00:17:04| maniac and I love to mingle with strangers like it's my favorite thing
00:17:08| because I've had to tell all my favorite jokes over again to reiterate over the
00:17:12| same list oh I like to poke people a little bit put them outside your comfort
00:17:20| zone and see what they're like I don't want what tonight I don't know anyone
00:17:24| here to you really that's my cousin you're like oh sorry really sorry
00:17:30| because they're like do you know anyone and I'm like yeah you are certainly a
00:17:41| proper sir yeah yeah they're all British interesting that you know moving on yeah
00:17:50| pause so this new segment it's a rate react to the existing scenario it's a
00:17:57| situation scenario situation right mm-hmm or the situation scenario I've
00:18:01| written down situation scenario Oh apparently we have a disparity here I
00:18:06| wish we had a third part due to vote that's where you come in you put down
00:18:10| the audience whether it's a scenario situation or a situation scenario let's
00:18:16| wait and we have no views okay all right then
00:18:24| I guess it's deadlocked at zero so you got a scenario or a situation or uh I
00:18:31| did it's fairly boring because I think about this one often I'll give it to you
00:18:35| you know alright cuz you might never think about it or it's like I think
00:18:38| about this all time I think about everything all the time it never stops
00:18:42| so go pay me with it even the not answer to this question hmm
00:18:49| all right let's say there's a solar flare while you're at work okay and all
00:18:56| electronics stop yep GPS cell phones traffic lights your car
00:19:01| won't start everything that's all do you try and
00:19:08| walk oh you got a steal a bike obviously and I'm pretty sure there's a bike yeah
00:19:15| bikes maybe work there's a lot of foreigners we just insulted foreigners
00:19:26| they're always biking aren't they yeah well I think the Europeans like to bike
00:19:30| but these foreigners are not to Europeans someone somewhere is quite
00:19:36| yeah yes the rickshaw it's still a rickshaw and then make somebody take you
00:19:46| under their location I was thinking you're gonna take them when you're
00:19:50| running with it for some reason I think you could just run regular you
00:19:54| can keep your love the rickshaw as the problem would you that would be
00:20:02| appropriate but now I don't know if it comes with the hat I'm not going to you
00:20:09| think they bring that inside with them you might actually welcome people if you
00:20:13| could balance it in such a way that you could run and then have them push back
00:20:16| and you could just float in the air with the you know you'd be floating like a
00:20:19| head to the rickshaw sounds a little bit like my argument that in the three wheel
00:20:24| stroller where I push my son it's actually easier to push him and run
00:20:27| because my hands never go down and I'm always falling forward and I just keep
00:20:32| rolling so I'm not actually running hmm cuz you know because I'm not running
00:20:37| I'm just leaning forward on the his stroller it just keeps going forward it
00:20:41| lessens your your impact maybe okay I think of that sometimes but I'm pretty
00:20:46| sure there's an anti-science for that I hope so you should record yourself
00:20:50| running with it and upload it prove this wrong prove me wrong
00:20:56| Mythbusters they're all gonna have babies at age like 61 and 58 the two
00:21:01| bearded guys just to prove a point just to push a baby they couldn't borrow one
00:21:06| it was in the bylaws or something or they weren't allowed near kids I'm
00:21:11| not saying that about the Mythbusters I'm not saying anything about them
00:21:15| everybody by the time it's about the caste sure no yeah as far as you're
00:21:26| taking a bike how long would it take you honestly it's like 18 miles or something
00:21:30| so it would take me at least what four four hours maybe leave that feel like
00:21:37| you're going around cars and all the road like what is this guy doing here
00:21:41| you say that every every car was this guy doing here what is this guy doing
00:21:44| here and really there's like a solar flare that ruined all the cars the
00:21:48| problem is now I think people would be so nervously you'd have to shelter right
00:21:51| so you might you probably get it they're trying to get you to stay at work and
00:21:55| he'd be like fuck fuck you fuck you guys I don't want to stay even near you but
00:22:01| what are your chance survival greatest in a large group or now I don't think so
00:22:07| cuz you run out of food and then all of your phrase let's friends yes they true
00:22:14| but but isn't that how civilization is based the reason you don't live alone is
00:22:18| because you can delineate responsibilities and like you know
00:22:21| someone's in charge of food someone's in charge of shelter celinda Chartist and
00:22:24| like I guess me making all these delineation Xin six hours is a little
00:22:29| difficult or six thousand years your armor do you need to be our gladiator
00:22:35| yeah I I can barely walk battle with their God their running down the office
00:22:44| hallways to prove against the food now stink
00:22:46| yeah I just imagine like you know there's not one movie about the soccer
00:22:53| team that crashes on like one of the mountains have you seen this one call I
00:22:56| think it's called airplane might be called air Platte that's a comedy but
00:23:00| does like there's no Leslie Neil it's really funny yeah not this one
00:23:05| there's one that they crash and then they have to decide who gets Eve he says
00:23:09| and stop calling me Shirley I've seen it yeah is there Kenny I'm sorry so like we
00:23:16| think each other yeah it's pretty business yeah and they're like frozen
00:23:21| bodies so they have a scene where the guys like shaving off a thigh so he can
00:23:25| eat it and then he runs out of human dead human to eat and they're like all
00:23:30| looking at each other oh the eight dead ones birds that make
00:23:34| sense okay I've heard this and it's a cold environment so I guess if it was a
00:23:39| hot environment that would make it much different right
00:23:42| no one's need something stinky yeah and it only lasts like a couple days until
00:23:46| you're like right throw this out let's get a new one yes I think that's pretty
00:23:54| good well wait I still don't even know are
00:23:57| you going home I'm going home and then what buckling down till stuff comes back
00:24:03| on just praying and getting near my food source which is my pantry cuz I know
00:24:07| there's food there and your woman my woman well she's not gonna make it
00:24:11| [Laughter] welcome her first oh crap so in this
00:24:18| scenario I always think I'm headed back home I'm the protector or whatever
00:24:22| mm-hmm let's say I was 32 and hated my life and this happened and I was like
00:24:31| look up in the wrong way I just started walking the other way with my thumbs
00:24:37| looking quarters near and smiling like ah that's where you fashioned like a bow
00:24:43| or like a whatever you started start a new life you tell people you have a
00:24:48| different name I mean by the time Electric runs back up like that art
00:24:51| that's kind of ruined some databases right so do something true no no right
00:24:56| solid dude how many people would just slip into the heat there and also
00:25:00| you don't have time to Rivera fie everyone you're like okay we have to
00:25:03| take him at his word he's so and so what skills does he have
00:25:06| he has a job here so they don't more stores your paperwork somewhere where

00:25:46| movie I don't yeah yeah I'm fretting everybody's name dude the skinny dude
00:25:53| the nerdy dude yeah the nerdy leaves his daughter
00:25:55| disappeared he disappeared yeah five years ago he did that's interesting
00:25:59| probably had a divorce and a baby or something
00:26:02| it's just an assumption we'll look up your bitch you can do whatever I mean
00:26:06| yeah that is true you could disappear and do whatever you want which sounds
00:26:11| pretty burned down Hollywood yeah that's what happened yeah he um the whole point
00:26:19| is the bad guy is um he acts like he's blowing on Washington DC but really he's
00:26:23| going to this site offshore and just deleting everyone's social security
00:26:27| number and everything and encrypting it all into a pocket piece and he's gonna
00:26:31| sell it to somebody audience folks at home this is really
00:26:46| happening um scream and run out your door
00:26:51| immediately if you want to live did you have a scenario for me I might take too

00:29:04| this item though I probably did an no I actually doesn't help the muscle
00:29:11| group I wanted to work on so by different one folks this is garbage
00:29:16| Kofi's a trash this is actually going in the trash we're done this podcast it
00:29:22| wasn't even worth returning not in it I give up folks this is
00:29:30| garbage it's got some good words in there yeah like that
00:29:42| I need to prep that's how you prep I think you you just know I'm in my skype
00:29:50| and I pulled it up earlier on Amazon so I'm reading off actual oh good you
00:29:56| couldn't help I was wondering where you pulling this stuff from I like me dude I
00:30:00| was literally reading it because I thought it would be awesome to memorize
00:30:04| like I'm not gonna memorize it that's how I think - that's exactly so fuck
00:30:08| this up literally I can see you in the corner and filling up most of my screen
00:30:12| is the page with the muscle roller so I knew the price and everything else
00:30:16| that's pretty fantastic I know I should grab a random item in my house and then
00:30:21| like we could be a promo it yes I've been doing I bought this like three
00:30:24| weeks ago and I really wanted it for my shoulder but it it's like literally if
00:30:28| this one this much longer I would be really good you'd be really good at yeah
00:30:32| it's not so I'm like doing this to try and reach my shoulder I'm like bitch
00:30:39| like anyway you gotta hit like if you hit like one or two facts it's not
00:30:43| enough but if you hit three facts on an item or and then throw in the model
00:30:48| number it's the model number oh he said the two the towels one eight two four
00:30:53| four seven H that's that's incredible that's a long model number I need one
00:31:03| today I feel like calling somebody up and just like I need this model number
00:31:06| and then you've ran off and they're like oh yes sir we'll find that right send
00:31:11| this and immediately get it to you how much does it cost me $30 sir today only
00:31:14| promo code on panders at Nick and Dan underscore and person
00:31:18| Nick and Dan you will get it for 1099 oh man that was good how's a quality one
00:31:31| I don't know I just let's get into the freakin meaty topic Ella will be gone
00:31:36| we've been going for 31 minutes but we didn't do a celebrity challenge oh I
00:31:40| don't have one ready you got one I kind of want to I don't know if I want
00:31:44| to see this but I want to have it happen you want to hear it but crazy whoa
00:31:49| McCaffrey you can jump up when I'm doing Skype I don't mean use McCaffrey I
00:31:53| downloaded it when I was free and got rid of it okay you pronounce wrong but
00:31:58| hit the running back mechanics referring to I can't say it that's why I
00:32:07| mispronounce I'm a genius I kind of I think this would happen I think is
00:32:13| actually occur so I'm gonna propose to have it no I'll make one up and it's
00:32:17| gonna be good but I know it's gonna be good though yeah I know challenge you
00:32:20| you're gonna make sure that you you know I want let's cut and do it I feel like
00:32:25| it's always sunny would already have this is that you had Danny DeVito do
00:32:30| body paint so I'm just challenging them to have body paint like full body paint
00:32:37| and just put product post a picture because I feel like you see mostly like
00:32:42| women doing body paint and you're always like intrigued but Danny DeVito you
00:32:46| might like look at it and be like it can't be and they like you look back and
00:32:50| be like what am I trying like you're trying to figure out if it is body paint
00:32:53| but try not to look close enough to see da ironically enough do you know what I
00:33:01| thought of when you said Danny DeVito and nudity I thought it's weird he
00:33:06| shaped like this blueberry I feel like and I tried to think of what he shaped
00:33:10| like if there's another human being you know close to me okay no I'm on penguin
00:33:16| from the original Batman that's cuz he was penguin wait a minute that was Danny
00:33:22| DeVito no wonder he shaped like Danny DeVito but it really caught me off guard
00:33:27| that shaved my youth had my youth right there his shape shaped by youth shaved
00:33:32| shape you shaved incredible well folks so the person
00:33:41| beyond pattern move Dan to shave his youth wish I had
00:33:47| strongly no hate video for that yeah I need you strong I think we can move on
00:33:54| to oh wait I was gonna do the research topic but there's one topic ahead of it
00:33:59| what there's called the word of the day whoa and I do have a word I was watching
00:34:10| a I keep I finished watching Anthony Bourdain's parts unknown and the Netflix
00:34:16| was just stuck on that screen and I said really it's over so I'll move on but
00:34:22| anyone with like one of the last episodes he brings up carpetbaggers
00:34:26| people who search out opportunistic money ventures unscrupulously that's not
00:34:34| just a thing from the 20s or 30s it well I think it the first couple definitions
00:34:39| are you know from those errors and are too specific to really apply but the
00:34:44| last one was they were carpetbaggers in like the 1920 there's something right
00:34:49| they what moved around and tried to admit like take advantage of people
00:34:52| I guess so hold on what so what are the damp it oh that's not the word of the
00:34:59| day no no it's no I'm sorry I was like sure
00:35:04| what and what is the fine can we for the audience or for whoever isn't me cuz I
00:35:09| know tell me what carpetbagger actually refers to oh I think I know it's people
00:35:14| who move oh my I know the definition once with carpet and bagger mmm I think
00:35:20| it's vacuum salesman hey I think it's that they pack up their house and move
00:35:26| so they like they put everything in a carpet and just like kind of carried on
00:35:30| their back no I think it's vacuum salesman do you think so that they're
00:35:34| going around house to house this is from the nineteen twenties are they vacuums
00:35:37| back then Eureka no Eureka I thought of it
00:35:43| yes Bissell name is been named Branson Lenox it's bad
00:35:50| Coover oh good one pitbull that's like the means day I missed it
00:35:55| thanks dice yeah and I think that's it wait wait you said Schafer's I'd be like
00:36:04| oh yeah it might be right yeah bullshit it General Electric oh
00:36:08| yeah Oh Frigidaire I know they make fridges you don't think they made one
00:36:16| vacuum we don't think the guys were like we got it's like boom like that made
00:36:21| everything at one point or like hey ha I'll try it
00:36:24| what the heck is that it's like a knockoff brand of everything you've ever
00:36:30| know but it anyway anyway anyway folks at home so I'm going back to a word that
00:36:37| really most people take a word and they derive it like upwards right they make
00:36:42| it more specific so I unscrupulous I'm going back to
00:36:46| scruples because no one ever uses the word scruples one of mine
00:36:51| I'll say it I don't care they stopped buying from us as of a month ago
00:36:54| well my own big stops was called scruples
00:36:59| hmm it's a strip club like that but that's weird though no it's like well
00:37:07| because it used to be called oh just uh pretend you changed the scruples at the
00:37:15| overed I know the Oprah did okay there you go now it's now it's scruples at the
00:37:21| Oxford huh I guess that sounds weird because scruples are my moral
00:37:25| obligations so like live with society and be aware of it and protect it so is
00:37:32| it being used ironically I guess it is yeah for all those people inside there
00:37:38| chuckling in and their hearts open their hearts are
00:37:43| clearly visible to the public um what I think will be my word of the day
00:37:51| wax isn't Byronic holy well ironically is yeah well hold on ironic holy I think
00:38:02| it's cool to say with the extra syllable ironic Cooley yeah ironical II just see
00:38:08| if anyone notices be like in the post office and be like well i buy these
00:38:11| stamps but more ironically than anything else it's see if someone says anything
00:38:16| in fact they might people when they're not sure if they heard something and it
00:38:20| might be smart there tend to agree oh yeah yeah 100%
00:38:25| most people all you out those people some people will yeah I mean you have a
00:38:29| story about this where you're serving people ice cream at the family dairy
00:38:33| right penis or spring up sir what peanuts or sprinkles do I have to spell
00:38:42| it out for you more I know dude second part but I always said peanuts or
00:38:47| sprinkles that was I was young I was like 14 so I was very cute but when I
00:38:53| first said it was always penises sprinkle yeah all those people probably
00:39:01| watching the podcast and I like you suck I knew someone at homes crying thing for
00:39:18| peanuts yep I was underage at the time that's
00:39:22| why this is our pause do the research topic cuz I think we're gonna hit hard
00:39:33| and then we got like one thing left right now woo so we're gonna hit
00:39:39| Scientology Y and we're gonna reference other sources so please don't sue us
00:39:45| like you did the IRS back oh yeah alleged that we
00:39:53| that's not everything we say today yeah allegedly that's what happened so I do
00:40:02| want to say something interesting I said it like I didn't really have any
00:40:09| interesting I was I think you're grasping at straws here bill see okay
00:40:14| loose in the bank all right what's up King in Queens girl's name I was doing
00:40:21| Leah wrote I would say room Remini or like Remini me Remini for me yes
00:40:29| Leah Remini hold on Tom Cruise Elizabeth boss Kirstie Alley yeah Danny Masterson
00:40:40| how listen Jason Lee Jason Lee my name is Errol really thank God the skinny guy
00:40:49| yeah it's that weird and hold on one hear something even crazier his fat
00:40:55| friend losing all his movies with him yeah real and guy he um he's in
00:41:00| Scientology too or was this is all allegedly and was because some of these
00:41:04| people did leave do you think some of the people just like cycle through it
00:41:06| just be like okay let me see what this is about
00:41:08| I think most of them did check this one we're gonna knock your socks out all
00:41:12| right everybody home sit down the rapper dougie fresh some other interesting ones
00:41:24| I thought were back hurts me it's like how could you say I was the huge bet guy
00:41:35| but the fact that he is hurts me it's almost like why yeah what would you do
00:41:40| this is a cool one Nancy Cartwright allegedly the voice from Bart Simpson ah
00:41:46| that's a woman huh hey Manny shorts I believe in Xena
00:41:58| oh geez I got two more oh god Sonny Sonny Bono you've heard of him oh yeah
00:42:03| that's sure check this one's gonna knock your socks off know it she's not listed
00:42:10| I mean Mike John well who's already mentioned so there and uh check this one
00:42:19| out Seinfeld Jerry yeah I feel like maybe
00:42:26| it's not like two big celebrities is probably not a religion it's probably
00:42:30| just a means of socializing okay let's check this club out and it also said
00:42:35| circus isn't started in like 1974 like you know
00:42:41| giggles and whatever who knows oh he's been in in here in some years but yeah
00:42:45| that's the weird that's the weird thing with like lair so hold on there's
00:42:49| there's I did a little research I cracked a few codes these names I just
00:42:54| mentioned all allegedly but we'll assume they are because if if you add a little
00:42:59| letter is it still here whoa hold on the first no the first letter of all their
00:43:03| names spells Lenny Dykstra over space the Phillies 1993 Oh
00:43:11| leadoff hitter lay Dykstra I don't know I'm just saying folks the biggest con
00:43:16| man ever did he they make Bank and then lose oh he went to jail
00:43:23| Lenny oh he was making side bets wasn't he no he was on legible weird well no no
00:43:30| no he allegedly was actually convicted of all his crimes
00:43:33| so we haven't we say whatever the hell we want about Lenny he uh trying on an
00:43:38| exact he was opening like these foundations almost like a helicopter
00:43:43| thing it was like you could rent a helicopter out you don't know like you
00:43:48| could rent a helicopter and be a celebrity for a day for $200,000 and
00:43:52| they cart you around and it was a service and he bought a mansion and it
00:43:56| was like this lifestyle you could buy for days at a time like you could rent
00:43:59| being a star but it cost way too much and like either one person or two people
00:44:06| is all that ever signed up for it and like he had already bought the mansion
00:44:10| and the helicopters and he really just want
00:44:12| by these things and pretend to rent them out to people mmm well and a lot of tax
00:44:16| evasion and lying on his stuff and in him in jail I think just got out a year
00:44:20| ago he went to the - is that me straight that would be fine I would agree with
00:44:24| everything he said I never even heard about that because I just didn't get he
00:44:30| had some illness or something and then he disappeared I left Philadelphia and
00:44:33| never heard about him again no I might even one of the other 93 Phillies did
00:44:37| you know what eight of them have like brain ruin cancer and they think it's
00:44:42| from playing on the turf at the over the ballpark used to be turn around better
00:44:47| and say to me say you yeah that man is what they're thinking because how else
00:44:53| would like seven players who played for the Phillies have brain related cancer
00:44:58| may be that weird dip turf though well no no but then the rest of the league
00:45:05| would probably have it I'm gonna do why the seven players on the Phillies do you
00:45:10| don't mean like it seems it has to be Philadelphia related you would think
00:45:13| anyway everyone check your facts at home maybe it's six and I'm gonna get bream
00:45:17| down the comments anyway folks we're here to talk about
00:45:22| yes that one favorite religion we all know and love scientist ology yep
00:45:28| sciency ologist mmm-hmm so which part do you want to hit
00:45:32| do you wanna you wanna go from the LIA aspect cuz she shot lately alien I guess
00:45:42| hey Elliot good friend of the podcast she was actually in it when she was
00:45:46| young that's two years are yeah so one thing I
00:45:53| did notice I don't know where to start so I will say I did some research
00:45:56| outside the numbers when you really get into it and you want to be a member and
00:46:00| also if stuff you become a grade one there's something wrong you have
00:46:03| different levels yeah I know but that's not this is this is before the operating
00:46:09| thing which is no take I'm sure you know all about the OTS I guess t I was doing
00:46:14| a theta stating levels or whatever you talk about right yeah yeah which are
00:46:17| called ot okay and you're operating thing whatever for some reason you're an
00:46:21| operator I don't know mmm I know what is the things or machines in your operate
00:46:25| sure I guess I'm sure sure but anyway before you can even become that you have
00:46:30| to get clear which is like it's like the ultimate high it's like yeah let's get
00:46:35| clear come mentally uglier here like got clear spiritual clear you dug it clear
00:46:40| the whole goal of the religion is to get clear so you go to these what sessions
00:46:45| what are they called right they're sessions I actually don't 100% know but
00:46:49| you know auditing sessions yeah right okay yes okay so you go to an auditing
00:46:54| session and you become graded based on your tests on the pee meter
00:47:00| yeah the only which is what petals it's a part of a lie detector actually right
00:47:09| lung monitor or the heart rate and me which those things are actually they
00:47:15| didn't test on it and there are only 52% accurate and the terrific it's just tell
00:47:20| me if they kept doing it it would end up in 50 yeah
00:47:23| yeah tell me that it yeah it's full of crap but these people believe it
00:47:27| obviously because it's I don't know it's got some sort of feedback into what
00:47:32| there's things you did you do any real research into the actual science of the
00:47:36| the e-meter I didn't I didn't either I mean I think it just reads like pulses
00:47:41| from your body and like somehow your your waves are generating this amount of
00:47:46| negative energy and that's how they measure it and they say oh you're lying
00:47:50| or you need to talk about that more according to you to them sorry I said
00:47:55| you it's like the reading goes up and it reads like I want to say electronic and
00:48:01| pulse signals for your body which may or may not be related hanging but they say
00:48:06| it's thought I guess if your brain gets caught into a big thought it's their
00:48:11| version of a sin I guess it's not coldest in in this religion but a same
00:48:14| thing right it's like this year the stress related to line or something
00:48:17| right which sounds really freaky for a religion to be testing you on lies and
00:48:21| fine I guess there's a there's a good feeling to be scientifically validated
00:48:28| if you're joining a religion like it's not like all fairies it's like well this
00:48:32| is science it's real science Scientology yeah but that's the idea new
00:48:37| that's who it appeals to they want a well that's kind of this the
00:48:41| theme I was picking it from the people who were talking about it there was
00:48:45| these people that really enjoyed being a part of it because I guess it has like a
00:48:49| butcher like a little bit of introspection and they get to be in a
00:48:52| community and they're a pad of something and they pretend they're scientific
00:48:55| honest right let me enter your readings and levels and facts it's a hierarchy
00:49:00| and there's facts that they made up but what's allegedly - yeah which completely
00:49:08| go out the window once you you pay up these levels so there's milking money
00:49:12| out of you hold on a large numbers got numbers oh yeah so a great one which is
00:49:20| your first grade if you want to really become involved in religion and work
00:49:23| your way up to becoming an auditor when you take grade one lessons over the
00:49:27| course of either a year six months however long it takes you to finish this
00:49:30| thing you pay six hundred and fifty dollars
00:49:33| empty price but not crazy I don't know how many greats or where I think it's
00:49:39| all four or five and around two years of work you can become clear after you're
00:49:45| clear you become an OT and you can start auditing other people first they make
00:49:51| you audit yourself I'm a solo Auditor an ot1 which is you know after clear you go
00:49:58| to Ooty once you've been there for two years
00:50:00| ot one solo auditing class these numbers may have changed but it was a few years
00:50:05| ago 2,750 bucks that's ot to which you can take this is you're done I don't
00:50:16| take six months six weeks whatever when you finish ot to five thousand two
00:50:22| hundred and twenty-five dollars we go down wait no no two thousand seven
00:50:27| hundred eighty I face it so 2750 sorry the one guy in the video said I was like
00:50:38| what the fuck we're just like do you know how much it
00:50:44| cost him to get there eight thousand nine hundred and ten dollars so case yes
00:50:50| that's a lot of money now you got to feel like an idiot or you
00:50:55| pull oh yeah hold on that's part of it I assume you have to get to ot three
00:51:01| there's four or five six seven I got a number for seven which is a didn't get
00:51:06| the name of that class ot7 you have to spend thirty to forty
00:51:10| thousand dollars to become a member of roti seven Wow
00:51:17| there's an OT 8 and this is around when ron hubbard l ron hubbard died yep
00:51:23| he hadn't he had drafted up ideas for OT there's a 19 what I thought was
00:51:34| interesting this is also a theme in Scientology Oh Lewis once they get to
00:51:40| around 10 they have really badass names like number 12
00:51:45| Oh T 12 is called future so you become a future so it has predicted your church
00:51:51| yes so wait Oh T 14 becomes ability whoo I
00:51:56| like that name just unlined something new hold on Oh T
00:52:02| it's called telekinesis that's awesome is that I want to sign up right now
00:52:08| which is that I did there were no numbers lets me it died it's so long
00:52:13| they could I prepared well if I were the only ones yeah yeah because then you can
00:52:25| make your money back yeah easy easy anyway the coolest thing
00:52:29| was um ot 19 was called celestial being sighs funny babe yeah be Rice this man
00:52:38| our girl um our girl Lea Lea she estimated I'm not sure if she's right
00:52:46| after you know 30 years in this and working we're up through levels and
00:52:51| paying for all these classes and courses because that's what could consider them
00:52:54| she estimated that if you really wanted to make it 2 all the way to 8 those
00:52:59| people would have spent roughly $500,000 so it's really like a mobile game
00:53:06| applied to life and then a veteran yeah except that that doctor only works in
00:53:13| the game you're playing referred to a Scientology yeah and then did you hear
00:53:18| did you hear this as well let's say you entered stage 5 Yoriko t5 or a new era
00:53:25| Dianetics Connecticut now let's say you have a friend who's an OT 3 he doesn't
00:53:31| want to pay $10,000 for the next course and you're like let me tell you what's
00:53:35| in the briefcase things like find you $100,000 what they find you oh man I'll
00:53:50| do this is on a really good source actually I don't know if it's a good
00:53:54| source of all white waikiki pedia wikipedia like wikipedia kind of yqp do
00:53:59| yeah but i was actually surprised to find all that but yeah check it out
00:54:04| folks it's alone it's a lot of online a lot of money I'm kind of surprised well
00:54:09| here's my thing so once you get to level for this particular briefcase now you're
00:54:24| see ID in there 99 you're like 20-some thousand dollars in this religion you
00:54:28| spend a lot of friggin money you open the briefcase and you read the letters
00:54:33| tell this story until oh please do please tell what let's say you open the
00:54:36| briefcase tell what you find oh there's the ring unless you I celestial God or
00:54:40| something that is having this battle and all these people hold up
00:54:44| oh repay stories you know find out the origin of the earth yeah the ores in the
00:54:49| earth palette oh that's we're talkin in l ron Hubbard's high school unlike an
00:54:55| original piece of paper I guess I guess they put it back in the briefcase when
00:54:59| they're done for that price but there was this giant battle and everyone died
00:55:06| and got put into this sort of like spacecraft that goes to a different
00:55:10| planet and then they get dropped into this volcano and the volcano erupts with
00:55:15| all these Souls which is a and the souls then just don't have
00:55:20| anywhere to go so they start latching on to everyone's body so you have all these
00:55:23| thetans that are good and bad and creating new life and that's the whole
00:55:29| battle is he gonna get all the bad things out right you skip two really
00:55:34| important things I want to talk about Xenu yeah
00:55:38| so Xenu was essentially a celestial guy right right do you know what he his job
00:55:43| was or what he what he told because in the past world wherever this is
00:55:50| everyone's gods are things whatever these people are and uh there were a lot
00:55:54| of problems very much like the problems here on earth okay
00:55:57| very similar to the time that l ron hubbard grew up in oh no isn't anyway do
00:56:03| you know pinnacle the universe under the guise of tax evaluation he was calling
00:56:09| these people in so in this other world all these beings will other problems
00:56:14| were being called in to be almost audited examination yes woman but this
00:56:21| is another world I'm not sure how the tax is working other words yeah and he
00:56:25| if he's America you know Dena was finding all the bad ones and freezing
00:56:30| them and launching them into space aresia mentioned right well then they
00:56:35| land on earth all the bad ones that's where they were being sent this prison
00:56:38| planet and you know you said they're in volcanoes mm-hmm do you know how they
00:56:43| awoke this is the most interesting thing I heard I thought it was like an
00:56:46| eruption of the volcano oh not just an eruption an atomic bomb was set off the
00:56:52| image fuck yeah oh man that's before humans were around they were dropping
00:56:58| atomic bombs and funkiness someone was I kind of want to see that actually that
00:57:02| would be amazing but I want to know there are no humans
00:57:05| who's making atomic bombs and said them all Xenu well I guess so makin amends
00:57:12| but he's he's making bombs he's a god I guess he does whatever the hell he wants
00:57:18| yeah I thought my bomb oh I couldn't make it a regular explosion I'm still
00:57:22| confused he used atomic bombs that's a very human
00:57:26| thing figure that's like mice pansy that's the spin you would throw just be
00:57:30| like this can't be true but there's bombs
00:57:34| they just happened years ago that's that's the person in the background that
00:57:38| jumps into your conversation and says but atomic bombs and then you're just
00:57:42| like I think you're right yep well anyway they these beings were
00:57:48| launched in the air and every time a human is born
00:57:51| Satan's attached to them and yeah and that's what the auditing is about you're
00:57:55| trying to get me move these stations by figuring out what they are and I guess
00:57:59| they're just like a knife wound you just pull it out just give it to that under
00:58:03| came in here and then what happens to them
00:58:06| I guess they float around they float around and find a volcano and just hang
00:58:11| out we nuke some volcanoes yeah but that I mean I guess it's the part of the
00:58:16| religion that actually makes sense cuz you're actually thinking about like
00:58:19| what's hurting you and like deciding on what to fix Brady and I disagree almost
00:58:26| entirely it makes no sense behind the what it's like leaving out huge gaps
00:58:36| it's almost like you paid $14,000 live three years really believing let's say a
00:58:42| religion and maybe betterment of yourself and getting rid of inner demons
00:58:46| and stuff by the unpadded you look and you bought a book for essentially
00:58:50| fifteen thousand dollars and you looked at it in secret and you weren't allowed
00:58:55| to tell me what about it and it was like one page literally and it was like even
00:58:59| if it was four pages it was like stolons records from The Hobbit and you're like
00:59:02| what that's a book that's big and it's like woo a sit on and you're like I paid
00:59:13| $15,000 you can't back out now NTP yeah you're just really like and you're not
00:59:18| even supposed to tell anyone cuz there's this big old fine in this so what do you
00:59:23| do you just pretend and go along you're like yeah Oh III was great it was like I
00:59:28| figured it all out you just like do this that's the crazy thing though is that
00:59:32| you can't talk about how negative it is because they have people writing
00:59:36| knowledge reports on you so even if you talk out anybody that's in
00:59:43| Scientology will report back to I guess his name was Miscavige or something he
00:59:48| took over after l ron hubbard died he got a written down i thought that was
00:59:53| interesting - I thought l ron hubbard was around
00:59:56| forever also he died in 1986 that's a long-ass time ago right yeah it's a
01:00:01| while ago it's like 31 years I didn't even know Scientology was a thing until
01:00:05| like 12 years ago you don't think it was big either right so my guess is l ron
01:00:11| hubbard made it like almost fairytale esque I thought you would have to it's
01:00:17| like artists like their work becomes that much better because they can't make
01:00:20| more of it right well III agree with that but I'm doing what the guy uses
01:00:24| reference misgave ich muss gave us yes gameís confers name to stitch he seems
01:00:28| like kind of an angel like he wanted to take the power and push Scientology the
01:00:33| whole new just he wanted to just shove it and just yeah well it's like putting
01:00:39| a lemon through like a garden hose or something you're just squeezing it all
01:00:42| out of it yeah yep that's lemon and a garden hose
01:00:51| they made it so that you can't talk freely and then if you do and get I
01:00:56| guess excommunicated but they make up fairy tale in this this year is
01:01:02| something yeah this is so senior disconnect guys disassociated no
01:01:05| disconnect yeah they get they make it so that you can't talk to your family you
01:01:10| can't talk to your like sisters and brothers your mom your dad if they're in
01:01:13| Scientology they're expected to essentially disown you so that you never
01:01:18| get to talk to anybody you previously talked to which is frightening for
01:01:22| almost them it's almost impossible I mean you mean shunned like it's ex
01:01:26| excommunication on a religious and social level like it's just crazy yeah
01:01:31| which I guess is their goal is to take over your whole family so they can
01:01:34| manipulate you and everyone else it's very bizarre I found that there were two
01:01:41| elements to it and I guess we would almost say the two architects were l ron
01:01:45| hubbard and our boy Gammage who i will say his name wrong so many goddamn times
01:01:50| oh there's one thing you missed there's one thing you must that's when you start
01:01:57| Scientology they make you sign a contract uh yes I did skip over that
01:02:01| yeah little details small detail whoa tiny detail but yeah so I guess like
01:02:06| Hindus believe that you get what reborn in a caste system right correct so you
01:02:10| move up in the chain you move down a bit depending on how you act
01:02:14| but Scientologists believe that you are reborn indefinitely and that every life
01:02:20| is beholden to Scientology so you sign a contract for a billion years to be part
01:02:27| of Scientology even after you're reborn a whole thing like 1 billion and who
01:02:34| would say like you know a random person on the street like I know you from a
01:02:38| previous life and you sign this contract wait a minute no no that's not me yeah
01:02:45| here's your name no past life you know that is being the past life you've got
01:02:51| me oh damn it oh damn it uncaught foiled again not nutty it's crazy this thing
01:03:01| what was the name of that actual deep organization in Scientology poverty is a
01:03:06| sea or yeah and I think that began because uh I'm gonna start at the very
01:03:11| beginning so l ron Hubbard was married to this woman and oh yeah working out so
01:03:17| he got a divorce or was about to be so he took his children down to Cuba I
01:03:21| believe yes you know and he was calling his wife telling her that their children
01:03:27| were in my grave danger like he had done stuff to them yeah and this is all from
01:03:32| a documented thing that's already on a website somewhere so it's not me saying
01:03:36| it's someone else's sighted that's the source so it's real it's real really
01:03:41| source yep and so he was just messing with her mind in like breaking her
01:03:47| spirit and I think at the end of it he actually returned back with them fully
01:03:51| intact and David Childress um thing and then you know I think he got a divorce
01:03:57| and decided to go to Europe in the Mediterranean and bought like some
01:04:03| sort of old Cruise Line ship do you know why I don't I missed that part
01:04:09| international waters the loss could apply to him right now the IRS had just
01:04:13| started chasing him yeah I give the IRS yes so he decided he needed to live at
01:04:19| sea for many many years so he started sailing to different Mediterranean ports
01:04:24| and making people followers did you hear this though eventually all the ports
01:04:29| close to him when I'm in any order so where did he head back home who's who
01:04:35| say not the IRS did not give up though if I'm not mistaken so he kept saying
01:04:42| you're not a religion you owe us several hundred thousand dollars which
01:04:47| eventually grew to a grand total oh you get a number I don't know the numbers oh
01:04:53| yeah 1 billion 1 billion dollars in taxes David coordinates over years and
01:05:00| years and years and evading and everything in federal and all sorts of
01:05:03| state whatever well he had created like Dianetics way before that which had
01:05:07| grown and then failed and then he changed that into Scientology which then
01:05:12| took off I'm still I'm still amazed that the red flags thrown off by this guy
01:05:19| there's so many weird things that just wouldn't a fiction for a living yeah he
01:05:24| wrote previously about these things as fiction he's evading the IRS the
01:05:30| government he's hiding at sea and yet he has the answers to this God that no one
01:05:37| else knows about and the only way to get it is to pay him money
01:05:41| and people are like yeah what I think you've got something you might know that
01:05:46| you know it's like what you want talking about the people you're awesome there's
01:05:55| so many people out there that I guess they just want to have a following they
01:05:58| want to have something to do and then there's other people that just are
01:06:01| gullible like if you catch them at the right time they'll be like yeah that's
01:06:05| true someone told me that's true I I believe a little bit of this now I'm I
01:06:10| didn't think of this while I watched the whole thing and I've said it before but
01:06:14| I really think Scientology a lot between Hubbard and the other guy
01:06:19| again after this Miscavige let's get on with the beginning and would look like
01:06:22| but well but I'm gonna say up till 86 it seems like it's more of a sci-fi fun
01:06:31| give me money I have secrets kind of religion and around 86
01:06:37| even though these are Hubbard's ideals it almost became more violent if that
01:06:42| makes sense when this guy took over more Mormon integral yeah yeah yeah exactly
01:06:47| and it's totally a self-serving wheel and that to join the religion you have
01:06:51| to be audited and most these people are altered in on tape so they tell you to
01:06:56| talk about your fears and what's wrong with you and your sins and almost a mini
01:06:59| on camera oh I fantasize about little boys all the
01:07:04| time my name is Jerry I work at Subway this is gonna get a turn please call
01:07:09| anyone and they're like you're doing good you're doing good
01:07:11| Jared letting all those things out letting those things out good job good
01:07:16| job and then four years down the line he's paying $19,000 and he's like this
01:07:19| is stupid and they're like he's like guess what I'm gonna leave they're like
01:07:22| interesting because we have you saying that paper over boys huh would you like
01:07:28| to stay in the religion now and he's like what is the next level I will by
01:07:34| ot9 it's the highest level I might has no future though I'll work up to it
01:07:50| young Tanner is my so the folks at home let's do it on pander challenge
01:07:57| if we hit enough followers to afford ot7 I'll just take oc7 I won't even do the
01:08:04| old ones that's thirty to forty thousand dollars of just fun change I'll do it I
01:08:11| mean the point he'll buy you get the lesson in you don't think I can buy
01:08:17| lesson seven I have to take five six at involved right
01:08:23| god you're probably right she probably joined now and then when we get that
01:08:27| many colors we should be blackmailed I will tell you
01:08:33| what I don't think the Scientologists would take us I don't think they would
01:08:38| either because I think I think they prey on people who are gullible and we're not
01:08:41| right that's just nothing they'll know we're a
01:08:45| mystic yeah smart what does he do bit the people what was the name of the guy
01:08:56| the funny guy throughout the whole thing he's an actor I didn't get his name
01:09:00| no know who you're talking about I listened to it a long time ago so oh did
01:09:05| you he's an actor he look very gruff I feel
01:09:07| he's not intelligent ofili's from Boston or something he loves sports well he's
01:09:11| an activity example what he said I was like what this shit are they talking
01:09:16| about yeah yeah yeah he's thinking I opened the case and read like what's
01:09:20| what was this I don't know who he was anyway he cracked me up like he was like
01:09:25| I just wanted to belong next thing I know I'm up to my chin and things I'm a
01:09:33| novella could have said that oh yeah I think he could have said oh yeah that's
01:09:36| the thing is though people I feel like he was realistic and I'm pretty sure he
01:09:41| got out that realistic people are the ones who got out like even Lea Seinfeld
01:09:48| our friend Jerry Seinfeld good friend of the podcast he got out
01:09:51| yeah dude you got out like 50 years ago he came out probably what Hubbard died
01:09:55| did you hear how they announced he died no that was fascinating so they get all
01:10:02| these people together for a gala I think one of these gala
01:10:05| whatever yep and I guess and then I think don't quote me on this put it I
01:10:12| got I got the impression that's where they announced he died and it wasn't by
01:10:16| saying he died it was that he fought they and they were really weird with the
01:10:21| times and dates and all that did you catch that all the time yeah I couldn't
01:10:24| follow it on September 11 8 p.m. on Wednesday Friday the 19 you know and I'd
01:10:31| be like that's pretty specific and eat reached the next level of his experience
01:10:41| and it wasn't here on earth and people started like slowly
01:10:43| clapping and I was like what and they're like they're like we should not be sad
01:10:47| for him before he has moved on to better and greater powers and things and he
01:10:51| will give us direction from beyond and I was like they just announced he died in
01:10:57| a weirdest way ever like you would also use dead yeah I would expect that though
01:11:05| they're not reasonable I know yeah they've read this like the thing about
01:11:08| the Xenu and all right so here's get me Xena that Z who kills it and although
01:11:15| although all the women that stay with the religion though it sounds nuts like
01:11:19| it sounds crazy even like like Lea she or leia whatever name is Lea I'm gonna
01:11:27| say it the King James yeah she even even though she was really skeptical it
01:11:35| seemed she also wrote like these knowledge reports on her husband so she
01:11:39| she was a she's a whistleblower - she was whistleblowing on everyone else and
01:11:44| then like everyone did she was yes something's up with that because she was
01:11:50| even like protecting Scientology while talking about how like Tom Cruise
01:11:54| shouldn't be doing like she's like people are representing Scientology
01:11:58| wrong I wonder if she was afraid a little bit like you know not going
01:12:02| against and maybe also afraid to offend people she to us friends and family
01:12:06| members with you know what I mean that's pratik that's true do you know how you
01:12:09| are you insult something and then soften the blow after the fact and then you're
01:12:12| like start whispering behind your back what what is weird is um I forgot my
01:12:20| Treena lot well he lost it are we gonna talk about how they sued the IRS no but
01:12:26| we go there apparently there's like 22 or hundred lawsuits against it like
01:12:32| individuals who work at the IRS this isn't like against the IRS it's like I'm
01:12:36| gonna sue this person who works there for you know having a lawn that's
01:12:40| overgrown it's like ridiculous stuff they did raise a really good point I
01:12:44| think that Tom Cruise give the speech but the IRS is lawyers attorneys go to
01:12:49| giving the law and you know to nominating what belongs the federal and
01:12:53| doesn't is this a branch that is in is this a religion is the question well
01:12:58| then I will write and is this branch of government really qualified to decide
01:13:03| who is a religion who is it they seem like more like lawyers and
01:13:07| attorneys I don't think they know what a religion is which is a good point I mean
01:13:11| they probably shouldn't be in charge of that right you think you'd like throw it
01:13:16| to like Supreme Court and say you know it's right where a Supreme Court or
01:13:19| someone I had no clue who religion that's weird they don't have a branch
01:13:25| for that but I guess that would become too controversial
01:13:28| yeah and how you decide every religion is and what isn't once you get a number
01:13:34| of followers I mean I think if you just have to let it go so then what do you
01:13:39| say like even murder cults and stuff if they have enough followers they're good
01:13:42| to go was a child molester cults like do you like a little coat because that kind
01:13:51| of worn there's part of the Latter day I don't want to say it but he like he he
01:13:58| spun off of Mormon faith and he had like these compounds so like anything inside
01:14:03| these compounds was like was like lyre games yes so they couldn't tell what was
01:14:07| going on but he was doing these things against you know young girls and
01:14:12| manipulating people well yeah and he's he got arrested for some I figure what
01:14:19| it was but he got arrested he's put in a cell and then like videotaped him inside
01:14:23| the cell and the entire time it's like he's standing staring at a wall and just
01:14:28| like for hours like almost like 23 hours a day he's just like standing there like
01:14:33| you see him like vibrating and walking like moving back and forth he's like
01:14:37| communicating with God they suppose but yeah that he was he was still because he
01:14:46| was listening to God or something that's crazy that's some law and order stuff
01:14:50| like where they go like like the the psychologist knows how he murders his
01:14:54| victims is like well that's client/attorney privilege yeah if you
01:14:58| his mental state at the time and you're like hmm
01:15:01| give it come on Lenny wants to know yeah I guess there's a practical any Christo
01:15:07| folks young painters like Lennie Briscoe these are they
01:15:10| the hell that is the old guy you a white guy who gives the clever one liners in
01:15:14| law and order like he's like he's like I don't know I was just in the in a house
01:15:19| all I know is and they call me big run he's like you're going to the big house
01:15:23| all right yeah he says like clever stuff like that he's got the big eyebrows yeah
01:15:27| yeah the huge yeah yeah he's awesome he's he has the coolest lines anyway
01:15:32| every the um painters represents Lenny we represented Brisco Flynn we call them
01:15:38| when here l dog depending on which way the camera is facing elbow um but um
01:15:48| yeah it becomes like a social nightmare though if you're gonna break up like a
01:15:53| compound of a thousand people like right how do you know you're just like okay
01:15:59| everyone out of the compound now everybody back in cuz we do it in
01:16:04| refugee yes you did yeah I didn't search on the refuge that's another story
01:16:09| did you watch the curves getting getting Duncan episode the Kurtz yeah I didn't
01:16:16| see that one but I think there he goes check it out folks but uh we are not
01:16:22| here to judge not here to pander we are here to tell you that I don't know how
01:16:31| but I feel like the higher up celebrities actually made a ton of money
01:16:35| off Scientology I think it's anything that worries it
01:16:41| just clout think they're paying for clout I feel like they have cloud I feel
01:16:45| like they they probably are embedded like well did you here's oceans news
01:16:49| crews thing with all he just casually mentioned he wanted a girlfriend
01:16:54| they found him one well they made him one did you hear about this you recall
01:16:59| this part so there's this girl I forget her name and she was like just a young
01:17:04| girl who didn't have a lot of attachments in Scientology it just
01:17:07| seemed Katy no no this isn't okay
01:17:11| so no someone else was this is really weird so they um they spent six months
01:17:17| vetting here to make sure like she didn't have a secret past she wasn't
01:17:20| like raising a red flag she's totally seem normal
01:17:24| along say you're all really nice to get those things out of her
01:17:28| they spent $20,000 of Scientology's money to buy her Burberry clothes and
01:17:34| like super fashion stuff like really high stuff and they told her she was
01:17:39| going on a secret mission they didn't tell her what it was they they had her
01:17:44| hair colored by the person who does Tom Cruise's hair and apparently they had
01:17:49| secretly they made her hair the color that he loves and a woman red right so
01:17:55| hold on they're spending all this money dialing this girl up doing all sorts of
01:17:59| stuff because they're trying to set Tom Cruise up with her and they made them
01:18:03| meet at something just very casually whatever we're just in room or
01:18:06| intentional Oh intentional because it was on Tomba throughs did agents okay
01:18:12| well I don't know regardless of whether he did or didn't Scientology set in this
01:18:17| girl up big-time spending big bucks big whatever on this random Hani probably I
01:18:22| don't I didn't say it breaker mm-hmm and uh so one day she's talking
01:18:27| to the president guy who keep referencing I keep saying his name home
01:18:30| let's go ask her and said she has a Eddie thing and he's telling her all
01:18:35| these things on her mission how she's supposed to be with Tom and she claims
01:18:38| she has a headache and a headache and a headache he got so mad at her that he's
01:18:43| just like yes sir just food huh so they took away our clothes they made her
01:18:49| start cleaning toilets and she wasn't allowed to talk to her friends and stuff
01:18:53| some weird stuff they do and then readjust and then right and then a week
01:18:57| later Tom Cruise had a new girl show up and be his girlfriend and it was like
01:19:01| what he's insane but I guess in that like Tom Cruise
01:19:06| would get whatever he wanted but did you recall that he said one time
01:19:11| it would be cool to have a limo with something on the side and they just like
01:19:14| all workers got together and made my mom that's nuts
01:19:20| so that I guess maybe they weren't paying him maybe it's more of a
01:19:24| financial scheme or some sort of manipulation scheme because if you were
01:19:27| tied into it I'm gonna say it a religion then you could you can manipulate people
01:19:34| into doing pretty much anything like if you were like I want a Boeing 757
01:19:39| they said it's Nam they paid their laborers because it's illegal to make
01:19:43| someone work X amount of hours for mid-range 40 cents an hour is that weird
01:19:49| man that's so low right but I maybe it was paid for services not for all they
01:19:55| work on whoops either way I just thought it was weird but maybe that's where
01:20:04| people who were higher up have social status a rich already can kind of reap
01:20:10| some benefits because it's all tax-free too right you know what I mean so for
01:20:17| then that makes sense for a Tom Cruise for some of the other
01:20:20| you know that's to perlier there's something in it for them and they get to
01:20:24| see what people in the cult are like which might be amusing I don't know oh I
01:20:29| feel like they semi buy-in not all the way but like semi do you know what I
01:20:34| mean like they they're not they might not even some like some some of the
01:20:39| beliefs but some of the other stuff it just seems too outlandish to believe in
01:20:43| a bunch of OT three or the wall of fire as we refer to it as yeah
01:20:53| good topic goes to show what people are capable of yeah I mean you see it in
01:21:01| other religions were all religious our bed you see you see people who buy into
01:21:09| like the most random of things and religions like they read like one Bible
01:21:13| passage and then they they say our passage from the Quran and they say this
01:21:17| is what life is supposed to be but it like doesn't make any sense and they're
01:21:21| not applying it right and they're just like going off doing whatever they want
01:21:24| to be as generic as possible like these right so leave whatever whoever - would
01:21:30| you ever even say what I almost actually thought about this right now one
01:21:34| religion is good because they all have the ability to make someone feel good
01:21:42| about themselves self provide some kind of structure for
01:21:48| their lives that's we say sin free but at least morally good I guess yeah it
01:21:53| doesn't in theory any of other people and you're focusing that goal and you're
01:21:56| striving toward is nothing good that's the good things for widget offers which
01:22:00| are one scale one to ten I'd give that a seven well that's pretty good it sounds
01:22:04| pretty good right but on literally the other hand religious possibility in the
01:22:10| other direction is like bombing killing maiming doing pretty much the worst
01:22:16| things you mean like a ten in the dead scale it's like taking the goal away
01:22:20| from people and then forcing them to work towards that goal by doing whatever
01:22:25| that person decides would be is right but I feel like the evil potential is
01:22:33| always like nine or ten and a good pen was always like seven or eight but I
01:22:37| feel like the good potential is spread between like you know more bright like
01:22:41| more maybe over some people doing good stuff good stuff like the five percent
01:22:45| going like the yeah everyone else is just like what yeah I guess yeah hello
01:22:55| man I say we join check it out do you think they'll find this video they'll
01:23:01| sue us that's what we'll do huh well 400 lawsuits can line well this is weird I
01:23:09| just read the beginning of this exact scene we said all our thoughts ideas
01:23:17| everything we said is actually some not to heart of what our demonically
01:23:23| believes we were kidding folks how it's actually cool if you want to join and we
01:23:28| have references those funds at our house where we're gonna join what we were
01:23:32| saying was a big old joke if anyone even tried to use this in court I'd be like
01:23:36| did you at the end of yeah did you even look we love labor plus my friends are
01:23:41| actually Scientologists this science theologist
01:23:47| yeah they're smart oh we're talking bout Lutheran's I read it wrong and if
01:23:54| they're gonna sue come on here's a real quick question if
01:24:01| they did to us would we have to prove warm truth
01:24:07| them or us yeah I think we're comments at the commentary commentating on light
01:24:13| but there's so it's I think it's fair fair game
01:24:15| what if they proved all their stuff was super true what could they say us well
01:24:21| your honor you have a news right here and a picture of Xenu right here at
01:24:25| Austin oh god we really we really upped up dan dan there Xena yeah I'd be
01:24:32| screwed we're screwed I think we should probably send it off
01:24:35| right now I know yeah I'm gonna hit the button out because I really
